Bridget & David | Atria | Edgartown, MA

Welcome my first Martha's Vineyard wedding, and my transition into being a Martha's Vineyard only wedding photographer. Well I wish, because Bridget & David's Martha's Vineyard wedding at Atria in Edgartown was absolutely perfect. I keep looking back on this day thinking how amazing of an experience it was. Bridget & David's wedding was my first ever introduction to Martha's Vineyard in general, even though I've lived outside of Boston my entire life, I rarely ever visit the cape or the islands, maybe it's because of the traffic, maybe it's because I don't have a life, whatever, now I can't wait to go back. Bridget & David's big day was all you could ever want in a Martha's Vineyard wedding, full of lots of surprises. One of those being the weather; when we started the day, total overcast, after the ceremony, the skies cleared to reveal a beaming June sun, during our couples session, heavy fog rolled in, then back to direct sun as we went back to the reception. Wild. Anyways, all the festivities centered around Edgartown, a quaint little town on the island. Shortly after the ceremony we drove all the way across the island (which is a lot bigger than I expected) to take some photos at the infamous Aquinnah Cliffs, not without making one or two pit stops along the way for coffee and to visit their cute little pup. Atria held in the rest of the partying for the night, and we ended with a late night couples session to finish off the eventful, incredible day. Another reason why I love what I do.

Congrats to Bridget & David!
