I love weddings. I love Mystic, CT. I love October. I love Lake of Isles . And most importantly, I love this couple. Natalie, Patrick, and I first met during our engagement session in Mystic, CT a while back. I had so much fun during our shoot, and loved being able to capture this couple and their cute dog Bruce as we explored the Mystic seaport & downtown. Fast-forward a few months, and it's finally time for these two to tie the knot. I felt so excited driving down from Boston on that day, which ended up totally exceeded all my expectations. I started at two prep locations, bouncing back in forth between two houses in Mystic, both being great locations to shoot, with a lot of natural light, making my job that much easier! Once the ties were tied, and dresses zipped up, we headed over to an amazing ceremony down the road at St. Patrick's Church in Mystic. Shortly after, it was time to re-visit to an ultimate favorite venue of mine, and I'd even go as far as saying this is easily in my top three favorite venues to shoot at, Lake of Isles in North Stonington, CT. We explored the beautiful grounds surrounding the venue, taking formals overlooking the lake, before heading off in a golf cart to a nearby bridge for a quick couples session! Natalie & Patrick were so photogenic throughout all the photo sessions, and they were all laughs and smiles from the very first to very last photo. Business Time provided some fantastic live music as Natalie & Patrick celebrated through the night with all their loving friends and family. Everything on this day just seemed to go right, the light worked in my favor, and not to mention I did have some awesome subject to capture :)! A huge congrats to the newlyweds, Natalie & Patrick!!!
