Covid happens, plans change, and your downtown Boston wedding ends up at a huge house in Athens, NY. Relatable right? As with many couples in 2020, Alex & Amelia adapted to the changing times and chose to head on off to the Hudson Valley for their very special day. I was super excited when they asked if I could still make it to New York for the wedding, and couldn't say yes fast enough. I should actually thank these two for forcing me to have a much-needed weekend getaway surrounded by some of the best fall foliage on the Hudson River. A house full of interesting sculptures and artifacts watched on as Alex & Amelia said "I do" on the nearby lawn. Everything aside, what I loved most about their wedding was the overall attitude of Alex & Amelia the entire day. They were simply just happy to have everyone they love in one spot, and honestly if you ask me, I think that's what weddings are all about.
